THE LAST DAYS OF AVA LANGDON by Mark O’Flynn (UQP) has made the shortlist for the most prestigious Australian literary prize, the Miles Franklin Award.

Each of the shortlisted authors receives AU$5 000, and the winner will receive AU$ 60 000.

The winner will be announced on 8 September.
