Congratulations are due to author Peggy Frew and publisher Scribe as HOPE FARM wins Australia’s prestigious Barbara Jefferis Award!

The award is given by the Australian Society of Authors for “the best novel written by an Australian author that depicts women and girls in a positive way or otherwise empowers the status of women and girls in society.”

Earlier this year, HOPE FARM was shortlisted for both the Stella Prize and the Miles Franklin Prize, Australia’s biggest literary award.
