This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, as well as the 70th year that the Frankfurt Book Fair is taking place.

ARTE, ZDF and DER SPIEGEL, the Frankfurter Buchmesse and the German Publishers & Booksellers Association have joined forces to form an alliance and, with the support of the United Nations and Amnesty International, have launched the campaign “On The Same Page”. With this campaign, the alliance invites the international book and media industries to show their support for human rights.

We support the Declaration and the Book Fair’s initiative “I’m on the Same Page” to promote human rights and hope you will join us in spreading the word about the campaign and promoting books about this important issue.
