Behrouz Boochani, whose NO FRIEND BUT THE MOUNTAINS has won numerous awards and been published in both Europe and North America, as well as in Australia, has been given a three-year appointment as a  visiting professor at the Birkbeck School of Law of the Univerity of London. (As he is still detained in Papua New Guinea, he will fulfill his appointment via Skype.)
