Who needs a sword when you have a fancy umbrella?

Author Kristin Cashore has been in France since May, attending literary festivals in Saint Malo (Les Etonnants Voyageurs) and Epinal (Les Imaginales). The heroine of GRACELING, Katsa, is adept with a sword, but Kristin wields a pretty mean umbrella herself!

Kristin Cashore, prize-winning author of the fantasy novels GRACELING, FIRE and BITTERBLUE, has been in France since May, attending literary festivals in Saint Malo (Les Etonnants Voyageurs) and Epinal (Les Imaginales).
