The crash of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was just made personal with the news that award-winning Australian author Liam Davison and his wife Frankie were among the victims.

Three of his books, SOUNDINGS (La Baie des français), THE WHITE WOMAN (La Femme blanche) and THE OCCUPATION OF JUDITH MARIE (L’Occupation selon Judith Marie) are published in France by Actes Sud.

It was an honour to have known Liam and to have represented his books in France. It is tragic to know that there will be no more books from this very talented author.
